5-Ingredients or Less Recipes

2 07 2008

Works for Me Wednesday!
Here are three of my short, short, short recipes. Sorry that some of the directions are vague, but I never make them the same way twice and there really is no way to mess these up.

Easy BBQ Chicken Pizzas
Shred leftover cooked chicken and mix with bottled barbeque sauce. Open one can of refrigerated biscuits and roll each biscuit thin. Top each biscuit with chicken and 1/4 slice of cheese, and sliced onions, if desired. Bake at temp directed by biscuit can until biscuit is cooked and cheese is melted.

Presto Pink Punch
Mix one 12oz can of strawberry or peach nectar with 1 can frozen pink lemonade concentrate in a punch bowl. Add one 2-liter raspberry ginger ale to fill. Top with raspberry sherbet if desired.

Funky Monkey Shake
Freeze a banana in ice-cube size chunks. When frozen, add to blender with 3/4 cup milk and 2 Tbs peanut butter (eyeball it) and 1 tsp wheat germ (optional). Blend until smooth, adding more milk if necessary. A great treat for little monkeys (kids)!

I am craving the bbq pizza now! They are going on my menu next week! I make very similar banana smoothies, sometimes adding yogurt instead of milk to make a thicker shake.
